Lorne has lived in Nelson for over 40 years. He and his wife, Dorothy have been married since 1973 and have raised 3 children. Of course, they’re not children anymore. They are spread across Western Canada. Lorne has 4 granddaughters (from newborn to teenagers) and 1 young grandson, and he will be proud to show you photos.
Lorne’s been a Realtor since 1992. He specializes in residential real estate, but also deals extensively with land, recreational and commercial properties. His previous career was in finance and lending, so he is well able to assist in those areas of any real estate transaction.
Community involvement is significant in Lorne’s life. It’s important to give back to a city you love. Lorne is an active member and past president of the Rotary Club of Nelson Daybreak, and serves in leadership in his church and on the worship team. He also serves as a director of the Nelson & District Credit Union. Lorne sits on the provincial representative board for his denomination, Canadian Baptists of Western Canada.
Through his community connections Lorne also volunteers to deliver Meals on Wheels and has some involvement with the Community First Health Co-op. He also sits on the organizing committee for the MS Society of Canada's Glacier Challenge annual bicycle ride/fund-raiser. He not only helps organize this group, but also raises funds and annually takes part in this 200+ km. ride.
You can find Lorne on FaceBook, and he also has a business page there under Nelson Real Estate.
He may be a very busy guy, but is never too busy to chat with you about your real estate needs.
